Sales Engineer (m/f)

Deine Aufgaben

We are looking for experienced and passionated Sales Engineers for our office in Landshut, eager to support our sales team in providing solutions to customers for their IoT projects including HiveMQ, the Enterprise MQTT broker. HiveMQ is used by innovative companies like Liberty Global, Acer, BMW and many more as backbone of their IoT infrastructure.


  • Assisting the Sales team in reaching revenue goals by providing pre-sales technical support and presentations focused on articulating value to the prospective buyer
  • Be a specialist in our software products, especially HiveMQ and provide the best possible technical solution factoring in the requirements given by the customer
  • You are flexible and able to work with different sales teams to support them as technical specialist
  • Our prospects and customers value you as a technical resource for helping with their challenges and solving problems
  • You work closely with partners of dc-square to ensure they having success building a technically feasible and resillent solution using dc-square products 
  • Be an active part in the creation of Marketing white papers, blog posts and other content regarding implemented and possible solutions for current and future customers




Dein Profil

  • Bachelor in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Broad knowledge of state-of-the-art IoT solutions and technologies
  • 3+ years of pre-sales experience with infrastructure software like messaging systems, databases, SaaS, or Big Data products
  • Deep knowledge in software development, state-of-the-art technologies and distributed systems
  • Java, TCP/IP, sockets, distributed systems and Linux are in your standard vocabulary
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in German and English
  • Experience working within a quota and commission structure
